What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a scientifically proven effective martial that involves both self-defense and ground fighting techniques. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, also know as “The Gentle Art”, was designed by the smaller man in order to defeat the larger man. The art, or object, of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, for both self-defense and sport purpose alike, is to take your opponent to the ground, secure a dominate position, such as mount, and using a submission technique force your opponent to tap out.
